Ava has a passport and a visa and the moment our plane lands on US soil, she will become a dual citizen of US and Ukraine!

 

Person after person has talked about this adoption being a miracle. Maybe we should change one of her middle names to, Miracle!

Today we go to the US embassy for a visa and the medical clinic for an exam. We hope to be done by 4pm and make plane reservations to COME HOME! We have favor with God and man. Jesus is so good to us. We are so blessed to have Ava! Watch for GE updates on our journey home.

Our home for the next few days high on a perch in dowtown Kiev.

Nice train ride. Ava slept well and ate well. She is a happy little girl.

• Tomorrow we rest.
• Monday to the Medical clinic for an exam required by US Embassy.
• On the to embassy to get her papers in order.

We are working on plane tickets now to come home, leaving either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Bumpy ride, but Ava is sleeping peacefully. We keep pinching ourselves, to make sure it isn't just a dream. We are so excited to be going home. I can't wait to see my kids! I miss them so much.

 

We have her for 5 minutes and already have an inventory of hairbows to keep track of. Isn't she a doll?
